FRP Piedmont Basket Type Strainers are perfect solutions for preventing relatively bigger
particles to pass into the main pipe line in order to protect the expensive and fragile equipment
such as pumps, flow meters, nozzles and valves which could stop functioning in case of solid particle
accumulation. Primary areas of application, but not limited to, could be Heating and Cooling Systems,
Side Stream Filtration Systems, Sewage Lines…
Features
• Housing made in FRP (fiber glass reinforced polyester)
• Baskets made in Superduplex for high corrosion resistance
• EN13121 or ASME X design
• Flow rates from 100 gpm to 15000 gpm
• Pipe sizes from 2” to 24”
• Standard design pressure 150 psi. higher pressures are available
• Available with wedge wire and mesh liners.
• Swing bolt closure for quick opening available under request
• Davit arm for larger vessels to facilitate the removal of the basket
