Energy Saving Rod
Internal support rods are used to join the filter cartridges and the filter housing, thereby holding the cartridge in place. Traditional support rods restrict the flow of water and wear out in harsh conditions. They are thus subject to mechanical failure.
Our new Energy Saving Rod (ESR) design transforms cartridge filter support in water desalination plants. It notably reduces pressure drop (ΔP), which leads to less electrical demand and lower CO2 emissions from power generation. Because the ESR more than doubles the free area through which filtrate can pass, it allows significantly greater maximum flow through the cartridge filter stage. This improves filtration efficiency while minimizing pressure drop.
Additionally, its easy retrofitting onto older filter housings ensures a cost-effective and sustainable solution to enhance the filtration efficiency in water desalination plants without requiring major investments or system overhauls

- High mechanical resistance: Mechanical resistance of 2500 N and can support reinforced, state-of-the-art internal cartridges compared to existing designs in the market.
